Sleep(FC)

I never get enough sleep these days. I'm always so tired. Even when I try to go to bed early I can't because I will just stay up thinking millions of things in my bed. I miss those days when I was on a schedule. I would be in bed at around 9 o'clock and sleep until about 7. Now I go to sleep hopefully before two or one o'clock, but I still have to wake up at 7. 

I've tried many different tactics to get my self to fall asleep at an appropriate time. An appropriate time for me is around 11 o'clock, but that rarely happens. I've tried reading books before I go to sleep but as it turns out, I love to read so I won't go to sleep unless I finish a certain amount of pages. I've tried exercising a while before I go to sleep. That also didn't seem to work. For right now, I can say I'm pretty hopeless in the sleep department.

There was a point in my life when i was starting to think that my lack of sleep was something abnormal, but when I ask my peers they feel the exact same way. We teenagers have too much to do in a day. We dont have time to get a decent sleep. Now that we are seniors we have even more to do. Our lives are basically focused on college, filling out applications, writing our college essays, writing supplements. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in a day.
