My hypothesis is that sleep deprivation in teens will cause them to do bad in school. To test this hypothesis I am taking the test scores from two 8th grade classes, one tenth grade class and one 11th grade class and comparing it to the amount of hours they slept at night. Before I do this I will have to give out consent forms stating what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. The consent form will also include the students signature stating that they agree to this experiment. Right now I'm making my procedure which is taking some time to do. I can't wait to actually carry out the experiment. That's when thing will get more exciting. At first I thought that I wouldn't really like this class, but it turned out to be one of my favorite classes.

Research (ID)
In my research class we all picked a topic and make a hypoyhesis. After we make our hypothesis we have to think of an experiment to support this hypothesis. This may seem like a very simple thing to do but it's not as easy as it seems. Aside from making a hypothesis, you have to make a consent form, a survey and a procedure. This is not for every experiment, but for mines I do. Then you can carry out your experiment. After the experiment you collect your data. From your data you will see if your hypothesis is proven false or true.

Thoughts (FC)
I don't really know what to write about. Right now I can really find only a little bit to say. I guess I'm going to take this free response just to get a few thoughts out there.
I love cats. All types of cats. The fluffy ones make me feel all warm inside. I especially love it when they rub themselves against you. I've recently found out that it has nothing to do with their affection at all, but them just marking their territory. Sometimes I think my cats are weird because they do things u would think only dogs do. They chase their tails, fetch their toys and respond to things I tell them to do. Cats are the best.
Another thing is sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong time. Sometimes I wish I was a teen in the sixties but then I remember I'm black and that wouldn't work out as well as I would want it to. I wouldn't mind the music and the fashion. Sometimes I think I wouldn't mind being a hippy either, but that's another topic. It's weird that now that I'm older and understand more, I'm rethinking the time periods I like so much. I mean even if I wasn't black, I would still like to be a women but women back then also didn't have rights. Being a black girl is just 2x the problems.
My Last thought is that I really hate being short. A lot of people feel that being short is cute, but coming from a short person, it's not. I hate that I always have to look up at people when I'm talking to them. It gets annoying. I would at least like to grow to be 5'4 but in reality that's probably not going to happen. Ill just have to deal with it.

Supernatural (PB)
Sometimes I think I have an obsession with all things supernatural. I love things that aren't normal. Vampires, wolves, demons, angels, I find them all fascinating.
I think my interest in the supernatural started when I started watching charmed. Witches that had powers, that changed my life. I wanted powers to fight off the bad guys, but I don't really think I care much about using them to save people. This was when I was little and my obsession went away until my preteen years that I was introduced to twilight. For an author to take two supernatural creatures that at one point were feared and convey them as gorgeous caring beings is incredible to me and not to mention that this book inspired shows like true blood and vampire diaries. Both shows also have wolves and vampires in their main cast, but in those shows the vampires mostly stand out. In the summer of 2011, MTV gave viewers a show that mostly focuses on wolves. Teen wolves to be exact. Teen wolf is now one of my favorite shows now because after a while vampires are portrayed the same in every show. It's nice to have a change every now and then.
